1 Peter 2:9-10
9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

For in Christ we are sons of God,
We are sons of God through faith
Divided no more, together as one,
We are sons of God through faith
Chorus:
Every tongue, every tribe, every nation
One people, God’s people
Every tongue, every tribe, every nation
One people, God’s people

The blood of the cross tore down the wall
Jesus Christ is our peace
We are reconciled, hostile no more,
Jesus Christ is our peace

"King of Kings"
Verse 1:
In the darkness we were waiting
Without hope, without light
'Til from Heaven You came running
There was mercy in Your eyes
To fulfill the law and prophets
To a virgin came the word
From a throne of endless glory
To a cradle in the dirt
Chorus 1:
Praise the Father, praise the Son
Praise the Spirit, three in one
God of glory, Majesty
Praise forever to the King of Kings
Verse 2:
To reveal the kingdom coming
And to reconcile the lost
To redeem the whole creation
You did not despise the cross
For even in your suffering
You saw to the other side
Knowing this was our salvation
Jesus for our sake you died
Chorus 1: (same as above)
Verse 3:
And the morning that You rose
All of Heaven held its breath
'Til that stone was moved for good
For the Lamb had conquered death
And the dead rose from their tombs
And the angels stood in awe
For the souls of all who'd come
To the Father are restored
Verse 4:
And the church of Christ was born
Then the Spirit lit the flame
Now this gospel truth of old
Shall not kneel, shall not faint
By His blood and in His name
In His freedom I am free
For the love of Jesus Christ
Who has resurrected me
Chorus 2:
Praise the Father, praise the Son
Praise the Spirit, three in one
God of glory, Majesty
Praise forever to the King of Kings
Praise forever to the King of Kings

Hebrews 13:15-16 - 15 Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. 16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

Deuteronomy 31:21-22 And when many evils and troubles have come upon them, this song shall confront them as a witness (for it will live unforgotten in the mouths of their offspring). 3. We sing to praise God and build up one another.

Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?”
Matthew 26:30 And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
6. We sing to do battle.
2 Chronicles 20:20–22 And when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed.” 21 And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say, “Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.” 22 And when they began to sing and praise, the Lord set an ambush against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah, so that they were routed.

"There Is A Peace"
Verse 1:
Come weary and tired
Worn out from life
Step out of the shadows
And walk into light
Come sinner or saint,
Slave man or free
Bring blessings and offerings,
Then you shall see
Bring blessings and offerings,
Then you shall see
Chorus 1:
Thereʼs a peace
To settle your soul
There is a peace
That is calling you home
Verse 2:
Youʼve been tempted and shaken,
Tested and failed
Youʼve been so far from Jesus,
And too close to hell
Your visionʼs been clouded
By this worldʼs delight
But I tell you youʼre not of this world
So stand up and fight
Youʼre not of this world
So stand up and fight
Chorus 1:
Thereʼs a peace
To settle your soul
There is a peace
That is calling you home
Chorus 2:
There is a peace
Perfect and true
The prince of peace
Is calling for you
"His Mercy Is More"
Verse 1:
What love could remember no wrongs we have done
Omniscient, all knowing, He counts not their sum
Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more
Chorus:
Praise the Lord,
His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness, new every morn
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more
Verse 2:
What patience would wait as we constantly roam
What Father, so tender, is calling us home
He welcomes the weakest, the vilest, the poor
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more
Chorus:
Praise the Lord,
His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness, new every morn
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more
Verse 3:
What riches of kindness He lavished on us
His blood was the payment, His life was the cost
We stood 'neath a debt we could never afford
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more
Chorus:
Praise the Lord,
His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness, new every morn
Our sins they are many, His mercy is more
TAG:
When my sin abounds, His mercy is more
When my sin rises above my head, His mercy is more
